Cooking method: indirect with hickory for smoke, then reverse seared.

Great looking steak Bob, cooked perfectly. Doing a Costco rib eye tomorrow, Costco's rib eyes are the best around here.
 
Made a run to Costco today. It isn't as convenient as it was when we lived in Virginia. They have some really good beef and I picked up some very nice choice skirt steak for fajitas. Went looking for some of the beef short ribs I have seen on the site lately but they only had individual ribs in packs of three rather than the racks of four or five I have seen pictured in other posts. Seems as though they are not popular in my area as no one seems to have them. Great looking steak, Bob especially the grill marks!

I add it later to almost everything I eat, excluding most desserts. :rolleyes:
 
That's a cool supplement to the "big guy". My first camera was a Pentax 35mm ME Super. It was film of course but I loved it. I'm perfectly happy with my Nikon, but I wish I'd have done a little more research first. I've got to master it before I venture out for an additional camera. The problems I'm working on have more to do with the person looking through the view finder than the camera itself. Congrats on 12K by the way.
