Beef, it's what's for Christmas dinner. Used the Weber recipe for this one.

Started out with a 5.5# RR, added S&P.

Ingredients for the coating.

Ready to go.

I got to use my new baskets that I received for Christmas, so pretty for now.

On the Performer, it is almost done.

Resting.

Plated with some homemade mashed potatoes and chopped brussel sprouts with sun dried tomatoes. The family likes medium so that's how I cooked it.

Good food and a great Christmas with the family.

Thanks for looking.

That's a beauty Pat. I did ours on my kettle too except I used a roto (for the first time) my pitt temps were 450+ sometimes 500+ because of the air gaps resulting from the roto. Seeing yours makes me wish I hadn't used the roto (at least for the first time on a rib roast) Man yours looks good. Excellent BBQ skills!

Beautiful cook Pat...how did u like those baskets???

William, they are nice looking and well built. I have the baskets that came with the Performer and these are definitely built to a higher standard. I don't think they do anything different from the Weber baskets but will probably last a lot longer.
