Chicken N Chops

last Sunday, a few thighs and a few pork chops on the 26" OTG kettle

spring is here, Wisconsin's State Bird, the Robin, made his way earlier last week.
usually see a few hang around all winter, but not this wicked winter...

Maddie was even enjoying the mild temps last Sunday.

this was about the time I had wished I hadn't started this cook...
I started feeling pretty crummy...

but back to the grill.

while the meat was finishing up...

...liz inside had the side dishes ready and waiting...
oven roasted cauliflower and candied sweet potatoes.
This ▼ was my plate.... however...

...I only ate one small chop, the taters and a piece or two of the cauliflower. The rest were leftover.
Came down with a decent cold & a shortness of breath that kept me from going to work on Monday...
then Tuesday, I went to see my doc who, in turn, sent me to the ER.

Tests, X-rays, Meds, Et cetera....
Shorter version of a long story:
I'm feeling better today, haven't eaten much since last Sunday, hope to correct that in the next few days.
I did have some chicken today, and it was pretty tasty ;D
