Hey folks,

I've missed you all terribly, almost as much as I've missed cooking on my favourite grill. Life has been busy, and I haven't been cooking much out of doors because we've got lots of snow and it's been -30C for way too long around here. I'm also in the middle of a complete rebuild of a 135G fish tank that's in my dining room and it's been sucking up allot of my time.

Anywho, here's two quick cooks I've done lately.

Cook 1:

Had to do a resupply run for fuel:

So I could cook up some souvlaki pork chops and asparagus:

Finished Plate, and she was a real beaut going down:

Cook 2:

We has a little snow buildup:

But that ain't stoppin these ribs:

I hate to toot my own horn, but these might have been the best I've ever made:

Well that's it, hope you guys are all staying warm and I should be posting allot more cooks in the spring :)

Thanks for your kind words everybody!

Any pic's of the fish tank?

This is what it looked like as a cichlid tank:

And this is what it looked like in October:

It's 6 feet long, 18" deep and 24" high. I'm converting it to saltwater, but I've done a massive overhaul and removed the plastic trim, made a spray foam background for it and assembled all my gear. We're in the middle doing a built in at the end of the dining room that will surround the tank.

I've got some photos of the progress, but I'll probably wait until it's done for the sake of impact.

Nice to hear from you again Stuart. I Love the saltwaterthingy

WoW that's going to be nice! You going reef or fish only? I'm am/was a big salt water/reef tank guy. Looking to get back into it again. Sold everything off when we moved into our house 12 years ago and with life moving so fast and now a new son moneys allocated elsewhere it just hasn't happened! I can't believe how the new stuff coming up since I left. LEDs, Automation, Nano systems. LEDs are now seeming to be a game changer! Expensive to start with but no more bulb changes and decreased PAR output the older they get! Also electric bill friendly! Any pics of this spray foam back? Don't know what you mean?
