Busy couple of days in the kitchen. So #1 Son came in for the weekend from NY and I decided to make us a nice meal. Started on Thursday making Forkish's Walnut Sourdough recipe. I took liberties and added Golden Raisins to it. Phenomenal. Also found a sourdough biscuit recipe that was superb.

In photos starting with 200 grams of starter fed in the morning and by 2PM looked like this

Sourdough biscuits?!! OK, Bill...now you've done it...I just can't take it anymore with these baking posts of yours. Absolutely phenomenal...I'd pay good money to have you FedEx overnight me one of those biscuits. I'd be in heaven sopping up the ribeye juices with either one of those breads.

I've ran out of comments for your bread, each loaf is more amazing than the prior loaf. Those ribeyes look insanely good

When I was a kid we had a delivery guy deliver bread. I always called him the Breadman. From here on out you're dubbed the Breadman. Great job.

Great looking cook Bill. That is one aggressive starter. I'm assuming that is a 6 qt. Cambro. I'm getting ready to do the Walnut Sourdough myself for next Saturdays cook. Did FB#2 yesterday. Anyway, picture perfect as usual. That rib eye is gorgeous as well the plate. Rib Eyes are my favorite steak. Great job.

Bill I've got to stop looking at your bread posts or I'll be making bread 24/7. Absolutely wonderful meal and of course the bread.

Bill outstanding job as always and that bread is to die for. You just have to give us heads up time so we can get there in time for dinner!!!!:D We sure are enjoying making the bread and all we have to do is keep the dogs outside when we are doing it. They are right under our feet wanting some also. Again Bill, you did a fantastic job.
