Planned on doing brats for dinner although I felt the way I was doing them was I missing something. I saw Cliffs tread on brats and basically I was doing mine almost the same but without cooking the peppers in butter and he was leaving his brats in the pepper mixture a little longer then I was.
So I decided to give his method a try.
That was it the best brats I’ve made. The peppers were cooked more and the butter and the dark beer gave them a great taste.
The side was home fries with EVOO and Trader Joes 21 Seasoning Salute and garlic powder.
Also a few days earlier I made some marinara sauce on the performer for future use and decided to make some meatballs to go with it.
Used 80/20 and our homemade pork sausage for the meatballs baked the meatballs for twenty minutes then finished them in the sauce. Served over fettucine.
