Birthday Brisket Burgers and Dogs

I cooked some brisket, some burgers and some hotdogs to celebrate my 40th and my mother-in-law's 70th birthday.

15 lbs. Creekstone Farm's Prime

Top Trimmed. I left about 1/4 to 1/8 inch of fat cap.

Unwrapped and put in foil to rest.

Burgers prepped.

Burgers seared and coming to temp in my WSM still at temp from the brisket.

Done dogs.

Slices from the flat.

I love that magic place where the flat meets the point.

Sliced fatty end. Maybe I could have rendered it more but it was absolutely delicious.

Me carving the brisket for guests.

We had a great time! Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Dustin! Mother in Law too! What a feast. That brisket looks magnificent. Tremendous bark and it looks so tender and juicy. Dogs and burgers look great too.

That's one of the best looking briskets I've ever seen. Nice job, and Happy Birthday.

Happy birthday Dustin. That brisket looks amazing. I like your shrt too. I have relatives in Dallas and we get BBQ from Pecan Lodge evrytime we go. How long did you let it rest in the foil?

Happy birthday to you nad your MIL Dustin. You really put our a spread for the occasion. That brisket looks mighty tasty and it is hard to beat burgers and dogs on the grill. Great job!

Regards,

John
