Rain on the way yesterday evening, so I did a hurry up cook.
Was shooting for crisp skin, so I dusted the bird with cornstarch, then with Oakridge Game Bird & Chicken rub.
Veed the baskets to get the thighs cooking first.
Lump on bottom, and Stubb's briqs on top.
The south end was browning nicely after 1/2 hr. so I brought the baskets north.
After an hour total, only 140 internal temp, so she went in the oven to finish up.
Sided with corn, and leftover from Easter casserole potatoes.
Nice start of the week meal!
