Be careful when you whip the cover off your grill. You never know what may be lurking inside. Tonight I found a big black widow spider hanging off the side of my kettle! YIKES! 

I was trying to get the spider to hop onto a long handled brush to relocate into the bushes. I was so engaged in that effort that I didn't get a photo. Didn't get the spider onto the brush, either. Not sure if it dropped down inside the grill or down into the open backside of the wheel.Hey Chris: pics or it didn't happen!![]()
I find snakes in mine pretty often.
Fire gets rid of them.

That's what you get using the gas assist Performer... waiting for my grate to melt....Looks like you are getting your money's worth out of that charcoal grate!
