Banh Mi Sammies

Tried a new marinade for some banh mi snadwiches, turned out great.

The marinade.


Marinated some pork sirloins overnight.


Tried flipping the Vortex, I'm going to try this again with more charcoal to see what happens.


Carrots, onions and daikon for the veggies.


Bring the vinegar mixture to boil to pour over the veggies.


Had to set up for the cooking in the rain.

My favorite Pho shop here has one of our local grocery store bakeries make all of their Bahn Mi rolls. I can order from them, but have to do it on the same days that the Pho shop does and I have to order 2 dozen. So I have been using this recipe and they turn out great. If you can make bread, you can make these rolls too.
