Me? Nope. Hate cooking outside in the winter. If it's a mild day, (above 25 no wind) then I'll tolerate it. And yeah after precipitation the thing that gets me the worst is wind. Even in the mild months I don't like dealing with it
It's been four week (today) since we had any decent snow, and I didn't get any grilling photos when it happened, in fact it's been Bluebird weather since the new year. Now that we're basically settled, I won't miss the next opportunity to "bad-weather BBQ."
Gotta Grill. I may not enjoy sub freezing weather as much as sitting on the deck in the 70-80 temperatures but I do love grilled steak, chop, and wings. Also I love the look of respect I get from my grilling friends when I tell them about grilling in the cold
Absolutely, as long as it's not windy. Cooked up these two pork-loin steaks for tea last night.
It was -5˚C, (22˚F). My beer bottle froze to the q-table, (out of shot).
When I was a teenager my brother had a ski boat so ski’ed the Delta about every weekend.
While I never did this there was a big ski event my brother did every New Years Day.
It was naked skiing (and drinking).
Love it. When we have a big storm, we always plan for steaks on the grill.
But even without snow, we grill on average 3 or 4 times per week. Even the recent single digit temperatures didn’t stop me.
Reminds me of the time we were at Convict Lake in sub freezing temps, waiting for dawn so we could start fishing. I'm drinking a hot cup of coffee, trying to warm up, and I look to one side and I see...a group of fishermen drinking beer. Br-r-r-r!
