Not unlike the 5 gal. buckets you use to paint your frames. With a fresh custom paint job.
I watched your video on painting frames. I have some black buckets too. I like to paint the frame connection tabs too, which is why I do it with the frame completely taken apart. I may still give it another coat when it's put back together depending on how everything looks in the sun.Steve, you are very observant and have a good memory. Yah, I have lots of black buckets strewn around the garage.
Well, this is how us regular folk have to do their grill frames.View attachment 93402
I usually do too, this is something different for me. I think I like it though.Everything looks really good to me.
I prefer the High Heat Ultra Semi gloss on the end caps, but that looks fine too.
I got my welded frame section back last night. I had to clean up some of the new weld to make the sections fit together properly. I got it painted today and am just waiting for it to dry properly so I can reassemble the frame.View attachment 93746
I also put the lid back together in my clean room ( dining room, hope my wife doesn't see it). I stuck with the regular Rust-Oleum hi heat paint and think it looks pretty good that way. I also ran the grill grates through the dishwasher after I finished cleaning those up to get any remaining residue off of them.View attachment 93747View attachment 93748
Those are sitting there because I can't find their stakes that are buried in the ground.Make sure you get those lanterns painted for the wife while you're out there Steve

Thanks Danny, it all starts with the lid for me. I clean that up first to see if the rest of the grill is worth the same treatment. That lid looks amazing
I know, I'm just telling you why they're sitting there. I need to find replacement stakes for them or make some new ones out of a 2X4 or something.I was kidding Steve ! Aaahaha

Yeah, I know. Somebody likes to push them all the way in the ground so you can't find the stake again if they get knocked over. Those stakes always stay in the ground when you try and pull them out for the winter...
