We recently had our anniversary and decided on some nice rib eyes for our dinner. I haven't done this in a while, but I splurged and got some beautiful Prime Rib Eyes from Costco. They were delicious and actually a couple of bucks cheaper than the latter part of last year. Here's some pic's.
Here they are. Will freeze the third one.

These steaks were 1 1/2 inches thick.

Seasoned with a little oil, k salt and pepper only.

Enjoyed a few of these!

Put on a couple of pretty good size bakers.

Steaks on direct, high heat, about 3 minutes a side. Sorry about the dark picture.

Got some asparagus going after moving the steaks over to indirect for about another 4 minutes.

All done.

Plated. A little garlic butter on the steaks.

Slice shot. Pulled the steaks around 130 and let them rest for just a couple of minutes.

This was a delicious meal and topped off a great anniversary. Thanks for looking.
