One of the most interesting thing about living in the country is the wildlife that wanders thru the yard. Today, we had a pheasant visit for the first time.

For supper, we grilled a ribeye steak, fried some parmesan crusted squash in olive oil, SWMBO made some bread from my spent brewing grains and made her twice baked potatoes.

Thanks for lookin at my cookin!

Beautiful cook, Dwayne. I held my breath as I scrolled past that beautiful bird. Thought it was going to be plated on a WSM.

Let me start with "parmesan crusted squash" whatta great idea...Looks/sounds freaking awesome! Killer plate right there Dwain

Beautiful bird. We had a big Tom turkey walk thru our yard yesterday but my camera was elsewhere...
your ribeye looks fabulous . The squash sounds great. And getting two uses out of the grain? That is very green right there. Nice post , brother.

To bad it is not small game season, cause that bird walking thru your yard is some
of the prime fare! Spent grain bread is mighty good stuff along with evrything else
you made that was one fine meal.
