Thanks for the comments folks. I couldn't shoot the only pheasant I've seen since I've lived here. Now if (s)he had brothers and sisters....

...and getting two uses out of the grain? That is very green right there.

She also made dog biscuits. LOL The rest I set out for the birds or deer or whatever. This AM it looked like whoever is eatin it is enjoying it.

I used to be a rooster buster.
Not many around here on the wet side anymore.
Still quite a few on the East Side though....beautiful critters.

Alabama pheasants? Like I asked earlier, you got a hunting preserve nearby? If not, that bird is a LONG way from home.
