Over the last 3 weeks I've had cataracts removed from both eyes. I got the standard lenses and the change in vision is much better than I expected. Granted, I had a great surgeon (retired Navy of course) but he was even surprised with the results. Before surgery he told me the lenses would help distance vision but I would need cheaters to read. Yesterday I had my one week follow up and I read the bottom line on the reading chart. I can now read the smallest print on this forum without glasses. Doc says I'm lucky as that doesn't happen very often.
No pain, very little discomfort, and fantastic improvement. At 77 I can see like I did at 30. I am one very happy camper.
