    Weber Gourmet Grilling System

For those of you that didn't get the Weber email check here. It has me intrigued. I have been thinking about getting a wok from the kitchen supply store that would fully across the kettle. This one looks a bit on the small side. It does being up a few questions for me though. Do you...

    Cleaning

I use a double layer of heavy duty foil loosely over the grates while I preheat. The residue from the previous cook easily comes off with my grill brush. I think this is a good way to clean if you use the gasser a few times during the week, and your not the OCD cleaning type.

    Orchard fruitwood

Dave I sounds like you have a great source for fruit wood. I have a friend with an orchard and he took out 150ish apple trees last year in preparation for a new planting. I now have a small stash of apple curing in the garage.

    Repair/Repaint Rust spots in cabinet

I remember seeing a white and a beige HH at Home Depot (they were out of black bbq paint of all things). RustOleum does make a silver in HH I don't know if it would be close enough.

Need help on Genesis 2000 rebuild

I came across this when rebuilding my last Genesis. I ended up using Epoxy to secure the connectors back into the tubing. I didn't want to mess with calling customer service to see if i could buy braces with the connectors welded in. I had considered making some out of some sheet metal and...

Does a 2 burner Spirit cook evenly?

Craig, I don't have any experience with the Spirit line but I have picked up a two used Genesis Gassers and restored them from CL over the past few years for very reasonable amounts (less than 150 total cost in each. This is my latest rebuild ). And I have noticed that the closer you are to...

    Who need's a cambro? A better substitute?

Keep an eye on Double Take Auctions I have bought some good stuff of of there and they often have auctions in the northern Ohio/Erie PA area. Also keep an eye out for catering and local restaurant auctions i have watched those go for virtually nothing at some of them.

    CL Q200 cracked lid

Guys thanks for the tips! I bought this for tailgating and camping because of the increase in not being allowed charcoal at a lot of venues anymore. But I do believe that this grill can be a workhorse, the grate is nearly as big as my Genesis! Pat is that a warming rack you use for the...
