    vent/grate problem

    about 10 days ago i had called weber about the vent hitting on the charcoal grate on the new 22 and was called back today and told weber is aware of it and will call back when they come up with something. they had tested some and found a few that had the problem.

    chuck roll

    got a 23 lb chuck roll @ sams today. used head country rub cooked 250-275 with hickory and pecan. foiled at 160 and finished in the oven at 375 to 200 internal. i also made bryan's chipolte mayo. they really work well together.thanks again bryan chuck roll

    distance between grates

    is there more room between the charcoal ring and the bottom of the water pan? ive never cooked anything to tall for the bottom grate but a little more room between cooking grates would be nice.

    called ez que and they were trying to get their hands on a 26 to make a rotisserie for it . said check back in a couple months. i think that will be a great combo.was gonna get an ez que for my genesis but will wait for the new kettle
