Started at 4:45 Friday afternoon. Now 7:00 AM Pit - 225 Meat - 181. Weather was not that bad. Just a little rain. Wish it was a little easier to post pics then going thru Flickr.

Right now I wasn't planning on any. I've cooked in poor weather before without any. I have an L-shaped section of fence I may put around it for wind protection.

If I were going to get a new grate for my WSM I'd opt for the Stainless Steel 22-1/2 hinged grate. I think the stainless grates clean up easier and last longer.

Thanks for the comments. I finally figured out what I need. The grate size that fits into the opening is 18 x 11-3/4. A grate from a Genesis 1000 looks like it will fit. Now comes the hard part, finding a single grate! MikeZ
