New Style Weber 300s vs prior 300s - differences?

The last year you could buy a new east west Genesis 300 was 2010, 2011 is when they went to north south. So the newest possible east west grill you could find is already 6 years old. I have owned both types of Genesis 300s, the east west burners and the north south. The main difference to me...

New Spirit E-310 or used Genesis for same price?

Real nice find That looks like an e-320, they came with side burners the e-310 does not come with a side burner. You don't see 320's that often since they were made only 1 or 2 years, 2011 for sure and maybe 2012 that's it. Best of luck with it.

    Genesis 1000-5000 series differences

There are quite a few from that era in this video. To bad they left out the top of the line 5500. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdLnPCUeU08

    New Genesis EP-330 Cover...

This is the one that I have. http://www.the-cover-store.com/bbq-grill-cover-90-35-45-inch-ultima/ It’s a little too big front to back so I put a bungee around it. The big problem I had was finding one wide enough, so far this was the only one I found 90 inches or wider. The one that Weber...

    EP 330 not lighting

I had exactly the same problem. I ordered the Weber kit 7629 for 31 dollars from Ace. The kit comes with all four igniters, the ignition module, the button, a battery and the wire clips. I changed out everything in the kit and also I cleaned the rust off the burners right where the igniter...

    Is this a good deal?

I think it’s a little on the high side but fair. Offer 200, the worst is he says no. The craycorts are a nice upgrade, I have them on my performer. Although I don’t have one, I have only read good thing about the somkenator. Sorry but the color green just does not do it for me.

    Your favorite Steak cut

Picanha cooked on the rotisserie over a wood fire. Good lump charcoal will do in a pinch.

    another Redhead rescued

It looks to be in great shape for its age good luck with it. Looks like a Genesis 4 to me. The right side flip up table with no side burner and casters = Genesis 4. That grill also came with a smoker box but it may be long gone.

    Genesis 320's discountinued?

I only know of two besides the one you mentioned. The EP’s have 7mm stainless cooking grates, the CEP’s are 9mm like the Summit grills. The doors on CEP’s are always stainless regardless of what color the lid is.

    Genesis 320's discountinued?

Perhaps the new E320’s are only available in Canada. If so this would not be the first time Weber has sold something in Canada that you could not buy in the US, the Genesis CEP’s are a good example of this.

    1992 Redhead

That’s a great looking grill, great job on the restore. As far as knowing model it is it has me scratching my head. I agree with Chris that if it’s a 92 then it is too old to be a 2000, they were just called 2’s back then. For me the easy way to tell the difference between a 2 and a 2000 is...

    OTG Question

The blue grill in the picture is a 22, you can tell by where the lid vent is in relation to the lid handle. The 22 lid vents look like they are off to the side of the handle and 18’s look like they are in front or in back.

    All Genesis not created equal?

Lowes sells an E-330 and an E-310 in a color they call espresso, I have never seen it sold anywhere else. It’s a little darker than the copper color. Also as many already know big box stores like Lowes and HD don’t sell EP’s at all in any color.

    Quick Connect Issues

2011 is when they changed to 1/2 inch. Prior to that they were 3/8ths. That's the size of thread at the end of pipe the plumber installs. The size of the quick disconnect dos not matter since both sides come with the grill. I can't imagine Weber changing back to 3/8ths in 2013, that does not...
