    Ranch Kettle Whole Hog

I am going to do a whole hog for the first time ever this weekend. I believe I read something here many many moons ago about a member cooking a 50 or 60 pound pig on his/her ranch kettle. Can anyone give me some advice on the process?

    Delicious roast chicken recipe

I found this recipe today and cooked it for supper tonight, it was so outstanding I thought I should share it, even though it isn"t BBQ. It's a bit time consuming if you follow the whole recipe but well worth it. IMHO. http://www.gumbopages.com/food/roast-chix.html#sauce

    Wood chips wet or dry?

I'm kinda new to the smoking thing and have noticed on this site that some people advise wet chips in their recipes and some dry. My questions to you are:1)do you use wet or dry chips 2)is there a difference and what is it? Thanks.

I don't know if I even did the pineapple right I just sliced a fresh one fairly thick and tossed it on the grill for a couple of minutes both sides. Smoked Rabbit

Has anyone ever tried to smoke a rabbit and if so do you have a good recipe? I usually do rabbit on the stove at a low simmer in a large covered pan with a variety of herbs and spices in a gravy like sauce. As rabbit is very lean I was wondering if it would work on the WSM.

    A rookie rib question

My local grocer had a sale on side ribs today. I realize they aren't as desirable as back ribs but wanted to try them out on the WSM anyways. The package said they were "seasoned" so I asked the butcher what type of "seasoning" they had. He said "they are soaked in a salt and...
