Well done Bob, I've done chicken using this method with excellent results on my 22 wsm also. It works great on tri-tip too! But I put the grate directly over the coals first to sear them for a couple minutes per side before putting the middle section on. I replaced the top leg bolts with longer ones to hold the grate.
