Well here we are again in the early beginnings of old man winter. Time for me to break out my Winter Weber.
Going to make a Stout-Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs served over noodles.
Been wanting to do this since Monday but the temperature was only in the 20s same with Tuesday and same today being Wednesday, it had to get done.
Smokey Joe gets the call for putting down some smoke on the ribs. Used wine barrel chips and apple for the smoke.
Vegies are ready and cooked on the camp stove.
1 ½ hours of L&S smoke and there ready for the Winter Weber.
Winter Weber ready to go and loaded up with the ribs and veggies swimming in stout.
Now on to Cliffs Root Beer Beans
Had to make a few modifications to get it to work in a crock pot nothing major I just added a can of no salt beans to cut back a little on the sodium level per serving. So I added a little more root beer and BBQ sauce to compensate for the extra beans.
Got to say Cliff has got a winner in those beans, really good.
