Wild Card CSRs

I've had a craving for some CSRs lately so I decided Wild Card Saturday was a great time to do it. Used a recipe from the Wolfe Pit.

Picked up a couple of packs of these a week ago. One in the freezer and one here. About 3.2 lbs.

Had some rub left over from a pork shoulder I did a couple of months ago. Used it up. Made my sauce. Used SBR and honey, equal measure.

On the WSM running at 250. Apple for smoke.

Couple of yellow potatoes.

Got some veggies ready.

Checked at 1 1/2 hour mark. Ready for sauce.

Sauced one side and let cook for 15 minutes.

Sauced backside. 15 more minutes.

Small rest.

Made some garlic bread. Used a store bought baguette. Sliced and topped with butter and about 15 cloves of minced garlic. Was going to go with a loaf of my homemade sourdough but my starter wasn't ready.

Veggies done.

A taste.

Wow, this came out really good. Nice mild apple smoke and sweet, moist tender meat. Happy Game Day Weekend everyone. Thanks for looking.

Great looking cook Cliff, your starter wasn't ready but no vampires are coming in your house tonight with your 15 cloves of garlic replacement.

You did those CSRs proud Cliff. We do those quite often and yours are the best I've seen, very nice cook.

That's one amazing cook Cliff, everything is perfect and I'm sure delicious. Awesome job as always and enjoying all your cooks.

Cliff you knocked this one out of the park. I cook them all the time. Me & Babygirl love them. Bread is not on my diet but I would cheat if I could get close to your garlic bread.
