Wife's special request...

Wife wanted some very simple ribs. No sauce or honey or anything. Just lightly seasoned with some apple rub and that was it. No charcoal briquettes she wanted lump charcoal only. Added cherry wood chunks.

In the smoker it went for 3 hours and foiled for 45 min.

Wanted a simple side. Salad with a little Italian dressing.

Very simple Monday night football ribs and salad.

Thanks for looking. I hope it's not a sin to make bare bone ribs...

Look really good to me. No sin IMO. Perhaps we all get to carried away with rubs and sauces. I like the idea of minimal seasoning. I bet they were good. I should do that just to get back to the basics and back to what's important. The meat! Good job.

You ought to listen to her instincts more often. After all she's who your cookin for - right? Some times more is less. I like it. They look great!

Your right.... I cook for her. She likes my hobby because she gets to do less cooking and I get to drink outside and play / cook with fire. 😃

nice lookin' ribs Tony... Great Lookin' Dinner Plate!
up here where the temps are droppin' like bird ****, there's NO drinking outside anymore.... dude, you got it made! ;)

It's one of the benefits of living in Southern California. Nice temps. Football starts out here at 10:00 am and the last game ends around 8:30 pm. Plenty of time to recover to get ready for Work on Monday.

Great looking ribs! Sometimes simple is best! Some of the best chops we have are just salt and pepper. The meat can stand on its own!
