@GrantT, if you don't like it, send it my way! EH Taylor is one of my favorites, and has become scarce as hen's teeth in the last year plus! Used to get their "regular" version for $39.99 locally, and it beat any of my other favorite bourbons hand's down! I haven't had this particular one, but I'll bet you like it!

I enjoy finding little "unknown" treasures of single malt Scotches. Little bargains at Binneys, Costco, or Sam's. Recently I discovered a 10yo Highland Single Malt under the Member's Mark name at Sam's. Really a nice drinkable single malt not too smokey, hint of sweetness as most Highland Scotches are and $29 a bottle a nice little find.

This stuff goes for about $150/750ml. Neighbor brought it to a feed I put on last Summer and left it for me. Miriam put it away and just found it today. Pretty convenient -------it's her birthday

So as I'm sitting here sipping away on this Member's Mark 10 yo Highland single malt I kept noting how familiar it tasted . Well, I did a search and it's Tullibardine Talisker which I'd found at Costco under the "native" brand in a nice box and all. And was noting what a great find it was for a lighter Scotch (not as smoky) and wouldn't ya know I was right! I sure hope Sam's continues to sell this because honestly to my tastes it drinks like a Scotch many would pay $40 to $50 a bottle for. and for $29 it's an even better price than it was at Costco! https://www.samsclub.com/p/members-mark-highland-single-malt-scotch-whisky-750-ml/P990404042

My younger daughter and her fiance recently visited Ireland, so I had 1 simple request: bring me something that can't be found here.
She tried and she thought she did well, but a couple of days after they returned she texted me that she found both locally. It's the thought that counts.
