What is your Favorite Vintage Genesis Grill lid color

Does anyone know what years they make the burgundy genesis? We just acquired one and we are trying to figure out the age. The sticker is long gone.

If you post a photo of the grill, we might be able to give you a reasonable age range. The lid colors could cross quite a few years and maybe come and go from year to year.

Hey why not just post the colors up if you have them? Here is the Maroon color, which is not my favorite. And I have another one too!

In that case, I have a pink / Fuscia lid I could trade you for a red one

I have a red one that I would trade for the pink one. But I don't know that you would want to drive to Wisconsin to make the exchange.

Gotta love the red ones! Although it would be nice to have another color on one of them. That way when I say “I’ll fire up the red grill”, I don’t have to go into further explanation.

I got a blue one first, went out on loan to daughter in law, I will salvage the lid and store it after a send the blown out firebox, and most of the frame to the metal recycler.
The daily gasser is burgundy. So my line up is primarily red and burgundy but, blue will be the “switcher” when I get around to it.

Still waiting for a blue one to show up in the Upstate SC area. As a UK fan, I'll pay a premium to add it to my arsenal of a 2007 Genesis E310, WSM 22 and Performer..... If only I could be so lucky.

My plan is to have the blue caps sandblasted and painted then swap the lids and do the same to the burgundy. One to just make people ask “did you get ANOTHER grill!?” Change them every couple of weeks or when people come over and keep the laugh to myself!

I have one grill, but 4 different hoods. Green, red, black, and grey. I switch from time to time.
IE: the green hood goes on for my St. Patrick’s Day party.
