What are your favorite BBQ tools? Best burger flipping spatula?

What aré peels? Sorry new guy here.
Never much thought about it. They seem to do the job well and I have not been burnt. Next time I am doing something "HOT" I will take note for you. But the only time I do something at 600F+ is when I am doing pizza on the grill, and then I am using peels.

I have that same pair of tongs but only use them when I really need the length. I most often use a set of 10" Kitchenaid tongs that have a flat leading edge and straight side edges, and are perforated as well. They're not listed on Kitchenaid's website, but this set is similar:

Maybe, this is the one you are referring to?

I have that one, too and in my opinion, this works better than others (including Weber). Very sturdy.

My wife got me the big green egg set probably 10 years ago. I never would have paid that for a fork, spatula, and tongs but the tongs are the best tongs I have ever used. They are long and you can tell the construction is solid. I use the fork for marshmellows for the kids.

My favorite burger flipper/spatula is from Weber was included in a 3 pc kit that also has a fork and tongs. I got it as a gift 15 years ago, I don't know if they make that particular model anymore (model 6445).They still have the 3 pc tool set, but it's not the same as mine. It's a heavy spatula and I like it because it's easy to grip with my welding gloves. The flipper part is also very large, and that helps a lot as I grill my butcher's bacon burgers that are 8oz each and pretty large and don't shrink.

I have an assortment of Thermoworks equipment, Thermapen, Smoke, a few Temp Alarms, assorted temp probes for all of those, etc with cases for all.

My brisket/roast handling gloves are Artisan Griller from Amazon, tongs are an assortment of OXO, Weber and Edlund.

Edlund heavy duty tongs are a total game changer. I’ve tried every conventional tongs on the market from oxo to custom made. Edlund heavy duty scalloped style are the best. I prefer them over the flat grill edlund tongs. I buy them from a restaurant supply as there are lots of knockoffs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002P64OMC/?tag=tvwb-20

I do wish I could find a good, compact, 304ss tong/spatula turner. I use these, they rust out after 20-30 dishwasher runs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01707SE94/?tag=tvwb-20

I have 2 sets of Weber tools, the 'premium' and 'deluxe', which are bigger/longer. I use the 'deluxe' spatula most of the time because it has a nice long, balanced handle, and nice wide, beveled tray.

I use the 'premium' tongs more than the others. They are shorter, and easier to deal with. Both sets go through the dishwasher just fine, although I usually just hand wash them as soon as I'm done cooking.

This is silly, but I cut a "pot hanger" notch in a stick. I use it all the time to open the grill to add coals, rotate the grill, grab the hot grill if it sat too close to the chimney when hanging on the side of the kettle, etc. Simple, Free, and effective.

The notch looks like this.

The Thermapen is pretty cool too.

One of my favorites is an old pair of pliers. Moving grates, grabbing cast iron skillets, push the spatula down on burger patties before going on the grill or smoker...... tons of uses. Even my Son keeps a pair around.
