Browsing the bbq stuff at Lowes today I spotted a Weber 7745 table marked down to $25, regular price $59.95.
It had been shipped from Weber directly to this store and marked "special order returned" guess someone changed their mind.
After reading recently where a member here said it will work with the little WSM I decided to give it a try.
It's steel, made in China of course, and the legs are stored in holders underneath.
Grill leg locking mechanism below.
My old setup.
2 boards under 2 stepping stones, under a pan with the heat shield below the bowl.
The legs will lock, with just enough space under the bowl for the shield.
I'm in the process of re-staining the deck and this will be easier to move around.
Final thoughts.
It's pretty decent, a bit wobbly but not tippy.
Time will tell how well it holds up in the weather, and how scorched it might get under the bowl creating a possible rust problem.
Best suited, in my opinion, for camping, picnics, etc.
I think $40 would be a fair price for it, but we know Weber these days, make it in China, slap their name on it and price it as high as they think they can get away with.
