Weber Genesis Platinum, I bought in Wausau,Wisconsin. Will be drastically modified.

The welding and buying the metal was the least expensive part of this so far.
Getting everything powdercoated and plasti blasted will be way more expensive.
The more I think about it, the only thing left to blast is the lower tray and that can be done by regular sand blasting.

Well people, don't be disappointed in me, my grills
cookbox and lid sides will NOT get powdercoated.
The powdercoating guy must buy 5 pounds of high heat powder at a time.
At $90 a pound, a cookbox and lid sides will only take 2 pounds but I have to pay for all 5 pounds.
So, I'm going to rattle can the cookbox and lid sides with Rustolium high heat paint and run it through his oven for a little while.

I think the mockup of mine with a black cookbox the black looks out of place. And I think there’s enough of a contrast between the silver and SS is just enough
