Weber Genesis Platinum, I bought in Wausau,Wisconsin. Will be drastically modified.

I would have thought a hole that the tanks sit in to be 'cleaner'.... maybe a standoff to make look classy.

I hope you are going to break those square corners --- that looks worse than a trailer hitch lurking in the dark and many more times painful.

Really, you should have rolled some tube to make a circular hoop holder IMO.... but you're committed now.

I agree, the corners on the plate look cool but seem very likely to cause pain/injury.

Maybe apply large radius to remove sharp corners (from top view) or put some kind of coping or perpendicular wall over corners to protect the uninitiated from sharp corners.

Mark, I am pretty sure you will be fine, but just make sure that cross member for the tank bracket won't interfere with the flip up table bracket when you lower it.

Yah, the shelves will well within the perimeter of the upper shelves so injuries are not real likely. But nipping those corners down might still be a good idea.

Very curious what you’re doing here
Cody, with the 2 tanks in place, the top of the tank makes contact with that cross member, I'm just going to use a cable tie to secure the top of the tank.
Unless a NFL linemen runs into the grill, I think the tanks are good to go😉Them bottom welds have been cleaned up😄1000008503.jpg
