Whoever owned the grill before put that rack on there. As far as age, it's most likely a 1998 model based on the info sticker being on the end of the control panel and the use of screws instead of plugs to hold the control panel on.Thanks for the replies. I checked another 13 bar box frame and that one also has notches for the end rack.
I think it came to me with that part. I keep the parts in the firebox on the one-off grills so they don’t get lost. I don’t know the provenance of the grill and the serial number is not readable. The mystery continues….
Thanks Steve. The 8006 control panel that came with the grill has a worn off serial number that starts with EZ.Whoever owned the grill before put that rack on there. It was pretty easy to put those together backwards if you weren't paying attention. All the parts look original to that model except for that extra rack. The grill was assembled backwards when it came to me so it could be a mishmash of parts
I'm not sure of the first year they made those, 96 or 97 I think. I am sure of the last year they were offered, 2000.It is a 1998 grill and that coincides with the Skyline years, I believe.
