The Humor Thread

Moving forward, I will be deleting images that prominently include website names and/or URLs. The point of these is to attribute the image to a particular website, but also as an advertisement to drive traffic to that website, which is a violation of our forum rules.

Thanks for your understanding.

I remember the the leftovers to this day from the 78 Snows. I was living and working in what at the time was the "far reaches". Living in Bloomingdale (when it was still a lot of farm land and nice back roads, worked out of an office in Aurora. The walls of snow were so high when you came to a 4 way intersection, you didn't dare just "go through it". You stopped at every one, crept out, and looked as far as you could. When you thought it was safe I'd floor that little Chevette and dump the clutch as hard as I could to scoot across. Cause them big gravel trucks were not so careful

IIRC, it's referred to as "super ice." It's almost always in a very shaded location, and frequently is quite dirty. I got in a snowball fight my freshman year in college over Memorial Day weekend with that stuff (Keweenaw Peninsula.)
