I was on the fence about posting this given the "U's" and "Ur" but the dog's expression won me over. As if dog's can't spell.

Dogs understand over one hundred words, up to one hundred and eighty or so. That's part of why we like dogs so much.

Cats also understand just as many words, if not more.

They just don't feel like doing anything they don't want to.

That one gets me a lot!

When we had a cat and a waterbed, we might be gone for a few days and we had my wife’s son come and check on him, Matt would come in and call the cat who he could hear jump off the (warm) bed and go to the head of the stairs with a look of “you woke me up for what?” Then, he’d go jump back on the bed and go back to sleep! I miss that old fart!
