My great grandfather was wounded in the Spanish American war. He used to tell a story about being in the field hospital and the Dr's sticking a probe into the head-wound of a recently deceased patient and making his arm move.

Small world! My great uncle, my great grandfather’s brother, also fought in the Spanish American war!
He also fought in the Boer war and was a merchant marine during World War II!
From what I understand, Uncle Johnny was quite the character!

That's like the young boy who goes into confession, and tells the priest he did impure acts with a girl. The priest than rattles off a number of names and the boy says no none of them. Priest gives out the penance. He comes out and his buddy is waiting. Says "did you get a heavy penance?" Kid says "yeah and 5 new names to try too"
