BBQ RULES

When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:

Routine:
1. The woman buys the food.
2 The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables and makes the dessert.
3. The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill, beer in hand.

Here come the important part:
4. THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

More routine:
5. The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
6. The woman comes out to tell the man the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring him an other beer while he deals with the situation.

Important again:
7. THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.

More routine:
8. The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, drinks, utensils, napkins, sauces and brings them to the table.
9. After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:
10. Everyone PRAISES the Man and THANKS HIM for HIS cooking efforts.
11. The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "HER NIGHT OFF". And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.........

Joan.... Where on earth do you find such a Cooperative woman these days who isnt older than 40?!!!!!

I'm single and have to do all that crap myself!!!o_O No one told me there was an easier way, and here I thought having a wife would just cost more money! lol

I design the menu
I shop
I cook the sides
I cook the main course
I set flatware et al
I make sure there is plenty of ice
I serve
I make sure that all are served and content
I do the tear down
I do the dishes and make up the “take away” containers.


Such rubbish as this is so dated it really shook my wife’s tree!

Never mind, what I might have to say isn’t necessarily kind.
In this “woke” reality, the funny is too homogenized.
Most humor of that stripe has been deemed gender insensitive so,

Funny Joan, but that ain't the way it works around here. Bob plans the menu, does the shopping, makes sides that go well with the main course, preps the meat, etc. Miriam sets the table, makes the dessert and selects which of the guests will clear the table and do the dishes, They are rewarded with left overs, so Bob needs to fire up the grill again the next day :whistle: Tough work for Bob, but somebody's gotta do it:D:D:D
