Texas Burgers Take Two

A few days ago JimK started a thread about his son making a Texas Burger with Barbeque Sauce for a Cub Scout project.
I commented Barb and I had the same recipe from Weber’s Greatest Hits scheduled for a few days out. Well last night we made them and as Jim said one of the best burgers we’ve ever had.
Used ground cross rib roast for the hamburger.
Only modification I did was the recipe calls for sweet pickles, that ain’t going to happen here. I used regular dill pickles.
Did some home fries with olive oil and Weber’s Roasted Garlic and Herb Seasoning as a side.
Super simple to make and the BBQ sauce was quite good also, both Barb and I really liked the combination.
I can see why this recipe made it to Weber’s Greatest Hits.

Have a great week.

Looks great, Rich. You seem to be missing a burger, though.....cook's snack?? :)

Actually Rich that smaller burger was the pups snack. Recipe called for 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef and that was for four burgers. We had 1 pound of meat so Barb made two bigger burgers and a smaller treat for the two pups.
