Stars & Stripes Kettle


 
Definitely holds great appeal, especially for me, who is already a throwback design. 😂 I’ve seen lots of stars-and-stripes kettles at Weber Grill Academies around the world, but never ones anyone could cook on.
 
I learned how to grill with the three daisy wheel vents! The old manual reminds one to point the long leg into the wind and that places the vents to make the kettle work like a convection oven! They are brilliant but, less “convenient” to clean.
Basics still prove their value! Nice work John!!

Dang that is so sweet! Unfortunately the chairwomen of the finance committee has vetoed this one, still got that Copper one in the box from the Lowe’s clearance thing last winter.

Mine is the same, but when you look at it from a normal viewing distance it isn’t offensive to me. I do like the daisy wheels. For the most part I expect advertising to be a little deceptive. I use to use photoshop for a print company. I hope u enjoy the Stars and Stripes, mine looks good and has a slight learning curve. Good luck
