Stars & Stripes Kettle

Resisting…

My wife would kill me if I hit buy it now…..

It would be the 4th cooker
- Weber Performer
- Recteq RT1250 pellet smoker
- Wolf gasser
- New Braunfels offset

Dang that is so sweet! Unfortunately the chairwomen of the finance committee has vetoed this one, still got that Copper one in the box from the Lowe’s clearance thing last winter.

Great news - daisy wheels rule!
Getting ready for our 225th next year?!!
I remember 1976 and everyone was painting flags on garage doors or whatever, good times and great to be a patriot!
I think you need to check your math, Tim. Unless you have a time machine (hot tub?) you're not telling us about. ;)

Mine showed up today. Disappointed that the stars are more 'blueish; compared to the Walmart photo.View attachment 112210
Mine is the same, but when you look at it from a normal viewing distance it isn’t offensive to me. I do like the daisy wheels. For the most part I expect advertising to be a little deceptive. I use to use photoshop for a print company. I hope u enjoy the Stars and Stripes, mine looks good and has a slight learning curve. Good luck

Perhaps Weber needs to consider what Ford used to do when they painted the 1970's Gran Torino with the Starsky and Hutch colors (red with a white stripe). The cars started out solid white, a masking applique was applied to cover what would become the white stripe, and then the car was painted again in red. Then the masking was removed to reveal a true white stripe. Starting with a white car prevented having the red bleed through, which would have made the white stripe pink.

Weber support said nothing is wrong with my lid. But they were going to replace my bowl which had various issues as well but were not easily seen. I actually didn't even bring the bowl issues up until they decided not to replace my lid. Doesn't make any sense to me so the kettle is going back to Walmart. Not worth the $$$ for a bad paint job. My first experience with Weber support after 20 years and not a good outcome.
