Stars & Stripes Kettle

So did something I have never done and that is bought a new Weber. I have bought many older used Webers and Refurbished, just last week found an early 70's Kettle (needs some help), but seen this one and said I NEEDED IT!. Wife asked what is it, I was excited to get it, the box is in the living room right now. She knows I never buy a new grill. However I felt like the father from the Christmas Classic "A Christmas Story" when the father got the "Major Award" the leg lamp. "It's indescribably beautiful!" and "It reminds me of the Fourth of July!" I'll assemble in the morning and after seeing the wife's face when I told her how much I paid, ( she knows my budget) I may be at the Courthouse on Monday. LOL

Help me out here Brenda. I just bought the Stealth Grill, and I bought the the WSK E6 from Mark Foreman. I need a rational from a woman's perspective why I need this grill. I'm thinking I need to come up with something better than it being a Bar-B-Kettle. Obviously it's a Red, White & Blue but I need some help with the fact that it would be a third grill in as many months
I am not Brenda, but you could tell her (@John Burns, take notes)

“Weber made this grill to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment, American flags were prominently displayed during the celebrations of the 19th Amendment’s ratification in 1920. reinforcing the message that granting women the right to vote was a fulfillment of American democratic ideals.

I just want to show my support for a woman’s right to vote,”

Duh, Chuck - July 4* is right around the corner and this would be SO CUTE to decorate! 🤣
The first 2 are TOOLS - she loves the food they put out right? This one is DECOR... at least to begin with.

LOL Honestly, I came here to suggest this to Anthony, after thinking about his earlier post.
Would definitely be hard to sneak in, but what if you pitch it as a July 4 decoration? It's patriotic, sure to be an attention-getter, and
really would look great with flowers, streamers etc. Maybe let her enjoy it a little bit, then later you can move it to its rightful place with the
rest of your collection. :giggle:

I'm trying to decide how to handle mine - I was thinking maybe move it to front yard on July 4 and cook hotdogs for the neighbors,
but I'm not sure yet if it will be a looker or a cooker. Mine may wind up decorated too. LOL Either way, it will for sure be on display!

*Memorial Day comes earlier, if you can't wait.
And this in NO WAY is meant to be a plan of deception!
Dang, Brenda. You nailed it.

I feel like I'm collateral damage here...now I want one.

Happy Mother's Day!
