Definitely holds great appeal, especially for me, who is already a throwback design. I’ve seen lots of stars-and-stripes kettles at Weber Grill Academies around the world, but never ones anyone could cook on.

Getting ready for our 225th next year?!!
I remember 1976 and everyone was painting flags on garage doors or whatever, good times and great to be a patriot!

I learned how to grill with the three daisy wheel vents! The old manual reminds one to point the long leg into the wind and that places the vents to make the kettle work like a convection oven! They are brilliant but, less “convenient” to clean.
Basics still prove their value! Nice work John!!
