Found a tri tip in the freezer that was in there way too long. Thawed it out, trimmed the bad parts off, cubed it and marinated it in teriyaki sauce for about 4 hours.

Also marinated some green onion, sweet peppers, an onion, mushrooms and a zucchini in teriyaki sauce as well for about an hour. Nuked a few red potatoes too then skewered the veggies.

Took the Tri tip out of their bath and skewered them as well

Grilled everything on the Lodge Sportsman Grill

Everything done and resting

Time to eat!!

WOW!!! John those are soon awesome looking kabobs you have. Please send a care package.:)

Killer kabobs John! Don't you love the Sportsman? I love mine. It's a bit messy, I don't have mine bolted together, I lay a sheet of foil down on the base, and then but the bowl on the base so that the foil sticks out approx 2" in all directions. That catches the drips, and then when the cook is done, I just pull the bowl off, give it a shake so that any ash falls to the foil, and then ball up the foil to throw away. Quick and easy clean up

Looks like John has solved the problem of veggies finishing up before the meat by using sous vide - looks good bud
