Sold out?

Stopped at HD just now for something else. Where there is usually 50 or more propane grills and smokers outside the door there were maybe 6.

It's best to call the store instead of shopping online. Order directly from the store. The store will order through their Weber rep. The store makes more money and you don't have to pay shipping....just pickup from store. Edit: for Ace
Good call, Kyle. That also gets a relationship going with your local Ace, which is always a good thing. My local one has been known to call frequent customers when new products/sales come out

Thanks guys. The reason I am asking is because I am having a hard time finding a particular copier that I want. The last I heard (10 years ago), the company was talking about having them made in China and I was wondering if that is why they are not available today for the same reason as your grills you are looking for.

As far as kettles go, Weber did have a red Special Edition kettle made in China a few years ago. It was a flop though. Very cool looking grill, but had many issues with the red color chipping and popping off easily. I think that was the first and last time they made them outside USA.

New gas grills, not sure but I think most are made out of USA.

And bicycles. Walmart CEO said they can't keep adult bicycles in stock. Bike shops can't replace inventory.
And office chairs. With people working from home they're buying new office chairs. There's old office chairs sitting out on the curb all over my neighborhood

Performer I was wanting was $279. They 26 kettle is over 300 right?

Oh, yeah that Performer is really just a Kettle on a small cart with a side table. My opinion is that unless you are getting a gas assist Performer you are just as good to get a Kettle and do a different side table option.

I would rather have a mastertouch with a side table from here:

Just my opinion, of course.

I gifted my excellent three(3) year old Weber Mastertouch to my good neighbor and friend to make room for my Weber Performer Deluxe and the two(2) main reasons for the upgrade was the Propane Gas Assist and that spacious attached metal table which is very easy to clean and do prep grillwork.

Well, this afternoon, I just bought a Deep Ocean Blue Master Touch from Ace Hardware. Will be available to pick up in store next Saturday.

I'm very excited, can't wait.

I'm replacing my trusty 1999 Kettle. Its hard to retire that Kettle, its done lots and lots of cooks. But I fell in love with a Deep Ocean Blue Kettle.

Lynn, I feel the loss. The new one will be a comfort. I truly dread the day when I will have to build a new “two holer”!
Well, maybe not, a 26 on one end and Pizzaque on the other, I think I can console myself with the first good pizza from one end and anything from the 26!

Pass along the old kettle to a young griller, or turn into a firepit!
