An early snow for our area, hope it's not a sign of what this winter will be like.

Yesterday I made modiga sauce for a pork tenderloin, recipe here.
It's made with butter, mushrooms, garlic, lemon juice, wine, etc
I've used this on beef steaks, and Morgan C made it for chicken breasts.
On the grill, seasoned with Weber's Steak & Chop.

Not very attractive, but very tasty.
The sauce went on my spud too.

That's all I have for now, have a great week everyone!

Weather looks very cold and the food and pics look very good. I wonder if you were making the modiga sauce for beef could you substitute beef broth for the chicken broth and red wine for the white? Viable?

On a side note, its been in the 40s and 50s here lately and I noticed how stiff and almost brittle the weber grill covers get. Its a wonder they dont just crumble into pieces when handled in the frigid temps you northerners get.

Looks delectable, Bob.

The pic of your uncovered Performer looks like it was taken from 8 or 9 feet in the air. Were you using a drone, or have you had a growth spurt? ;)

Thanks guys!

Dean, I would have tried beef broth this time, but was out of stock.
I'm sure it, with red wine, would be great.

JimK, I almost said, here's a drone shot.
It was taken with my Pentax MX-1, widest angle, and using the tilt LCD to compose.

OK Bob. I'm fascinated with the Modiga Sauce. Am going to give it a try. Yours looks absolutely delicious. Wow, what weather you have to deal with, albeit beautiful! We had our first "frost" this morning. Ha! I don't recall seeing Provel Cheese in our stores. I imagine provolone would be a good substitute?

Bob, going to give that one a try really looks great! Chilly here too it was 19* when we took Raddy for a walk this morning, unheard of for this time of the year in Prescott.

Fantastic cook Bob, that looks so delicious. Pics are awesome but all that white stuff!!! Its to early for that, glad its you and not us.

I think one of my very first posts after joining this joint was direct towards your dead plants on your deck... think you can remember that far back buddy??
I said some nonsense about watering your plants before they die... well, now you got frozen dead deck plants Boob, I mean BOB ;)

getting into this cook you posted here, jiminy crickets, I cannot get close enough to this here ▼ plate!

groovyGrillin' in the snowBob!

Looks really tasty! Modiga in swedish means brave. Guess that has nothing to do with the sauce at all. A sauce i must try non the less. I feel bad for ya with all the snow. We are blessed here atm with only cold winds and rain!?
