Smoked Pears

So I tried a new one, got this from SR's show

Pears, brown sugar, butter, graham cracker crumbs, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, vanilla, rum and lemon zest

Mixed up all the ingredients, and make a cavity where the pits were on the pears

Filled the pears:

On the smoker, just a small amount of apple wood chunks (I've learned that desserts tend to oversmoke, have to go light on the amount of wood):

Plated with some whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon:

Its was really good, pears were nice and tender and the filling was gooey and sticky.
And honestly it was very simple, will definitely be doing it again.
 
Kind of reminds me of the stuffed apples my grandma and mom made for Christmas breakfast. Wonderful memories. My wife and I did them one Christmas many years ago and they came out great. I am going to try the pears. They sound wonderful.
