Here is another great Weber Recipe that makes a nice gift for Friends - Smoked and Spiced Nuts

I do a slightly different recipe in which I use equal parts Brown Sugar and Cumin and 1/4 part Cayenne.

On to the performer with hickory for smoke

After 15 minutes on the kettle, the nuts are done

A quick n easy cook but delicious and an easy way to share your passion of smoking with the office.

I need to get a post out to tell you all about this cook

I will get that done soon

I hope that everyone is enjoying the Christmas season and speaking of Christmas.....this has been sitting under the tree for a couple of days and I'm told I can't touch it. I did accidently nudge it with my foot and it's heavy.

I haven't been posting as much as I would like, but I'm still keeping an eye on all the amazing cooks everyone is doing. Keep up the good work everyone!

Those spiced nuts look amazing Jim. Cashews are my very favorite too. Look forward to the remainder of your other post. That's a nice looking gift under the tree. I could speculate...... but I won't.

Like the add on of the Cayenne, and get that other cook out bud cause it looks good. Oh, I think you are going to like the present by the way.

Great nut idea will give that a try. Nice box???????? Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Great post, James. Those cashews look and sound great. Love seeing something totally different on the grill. Thanks.

Just to take a fun guess....That wrapped box looks about the size my Performer came in. Whatever is, I don't think a woman buys something like that without putting serious thought into it. Enjoy!

James, good neighbor, words I never thought I would speak to another gentleman: Nice nuts!

In the gift package, I'm guessing a 14" WSM. Have a great Christmas buddy!

Hey Jim... I thought of another possibility for the "heavy" present under the tree. I was just skimming through Bob's Thread, All I want for Christmas..... , and I re-read your first post on the thread. I think there's a real possibility your present could be a nice Weber Box.... full of rocks.:D

James - great idea for the smoked nuts. my wife will love those - so they are going on the to-cook list. I hope you enjoy your gift but don't get your hopes up too high - it could be a lawn mower...

Regards,

John

I'm going to try doing those nuts also. Let us know what's in the box when the day comes.
