Shrimp on the Barbie

My local monger had some fresh Gulf Shrimp and Little Necks that had just come in. Grabbed them both.

Seasoned with Old Bay, then after a bit marinated with my Mojo de Ajo for about an hour

Opened the Clams, dressed with finely diced and smashed garlic, lemon juice, and served with a couple drops of Tabasco

Corn off the grill and the Shrimpies on hot and fast

I have to admit that I do not seek these sea things, but in your execution they look great! I would say luxurious.
 
The grilled shrimp and corn look awesome. Not sure I could do the raw clams, but they make for a nice plate for sure.
 
Your shrimp looks superb Bill. If you ever get the chance to go shrimpin in East Central Florida, it is not to be missed.
Imagine grilling those up about 3:30 AM as you get off the boat. Start your coals, clean the shrimp and marinate in some
Dr. Pepper 21 marinade. Great stuff. Good times.
 
MMMmmm, looks really good! I live in SW Florida and I don't eat enough Seafood. Going to have to change that!
 
Bill, it's photos like these which make me really hate my shellfish allergy. I'd be in heaven if I could have that plate.
 
those little necks are some of my favorite things to eat - West coast clams just don't don't cut it in comparison. We got you beat on oysters, but those little necks and cherry stones are the bomb - Plate looks great!

All I can say about your shrimp on the Barbie is, eat your heart out Aussies!:)
 
Beautiful looking plate, Bill. Like the clams along with the shrimp. You really get a lot of mileage out of that Mojo de Ajo. I see what you mean regarding its versatility.
