Seldom Found: Genesis Silver with good bottom

Update and still To do's:

I believe I have the exterior down to what I like, unless I come across a Blue lid.
I still need to address the inner cabinet.
I still have to address cleaning the firebox. I have not decided if I want to wire wheel it or sandblast it.
I have got the burners working and a new regulator. Thanks, Bruce, for the tip on the new regulator
I still have to clean the inside of the lid.
Here are the most current pics of my rehab to do's.

Samuel,
That is probably my favorite of the Silver series of Genesis grills (along with the shorter cart that also has the dual swing tables and black trim). I personally like the black hood! Keep it going; you have gotten it to great foundation to take as far as you want.

A red kettle on the badge would be a sharp touch :coolkettle: !

Thanks Jon,
I like it too. When I picked up a Genesis II E310 as a keeper recently. I thought about selling the Silver C. So, I have not, and I am glad I did not. I know if I would have, I would have regretted it later. The Silver C rehab has been a slow process for me, going down different rabbit holes, but I have enjoyed the ride.

Tried some squared off worktables and swing out shelves. I thought I might save the curved black end LHS and RHS trim pieces for a future Platinum build.

There was one of those blue lids hanging around this summer in my area. If I recall correctly it was a two burner though. The round tops are starting to gain my eye lately. But I’m forever a sucker for a square top.

That Black lid with the black handle and white pinstripe is my favorite of that style lid. Too bad it has fade. I have one without fade but no way to get it to you.

Yes Josh,
The pinstripe lids are unique. I did see one of those black ones for sale in my area. I somewhat considered buying it, but I did not want to fork up the cash at the time. They also make a blue lid with the same kind of pinstripe.

It’s funny Kevin-I had an LL Bean green lid on my 2 burner that I brought here from back east, and swapped it out for a blue lid from a project. Now I wish I still had the green.

It's cool and interesting to see peoples different taste/preference. Weber is an amazing brand from old-school to new having such a large variety of products.

Nope still have it, it is a very good grill. Every year I move it to our churchvforca anniversary celebration, and last year it blew over in a wind storm broke the handle, so as i was cleaning it up I decided to make look different from all the others around plus my Performer is Slate Blue so why not.
Kevin, I think he was asking if you still had the LL Bean lid. I could be wrong, but now I want to know if you still have it and see a picture of it if possible.
