So, today I did the Saturday White Bread and the CEO marinated the inside skirt in Honey, Dried Mustard Powder, Garlic Powder and Fresh Ground and Soy Sauce all day in the fridge. Her favorite marinade.

Came out really nice, the CEO loves this bread as she grew up in a full bore Italian neighborhood and says this bread reminds her of the fantastic bakeries around her where her parents bought bread each week. Commune's, Natales and Bovellas.

Have a great weekend everyone

That plated picture screams AMAZING! Do you not love that grill? It's my favorite charcoal grill

Bread. Skirt steak. Nailed 'em both!

You really get some good bubbling going on that dough. Maybe my house is a little too cool.

Edit: Well, you've motivated me. Had steak on the brain for dinner already. I just got a batch of of SWB going too.

Looks wonderful Bill, really want to get a sportsman, but the Finance Minister/War Department says not going to happen...Sigh.
Bread looks super good. Barb and I are doing that one today for the first bread out of Ken F's book, any tips or hints on the bread?

Bill, everything looks fantastic, just pass the plate this way. Looking forward to trying the Saturday White Bread today, hope it comes out like yours or close will be fine to start.
Please tell the Mrs. I like that marinade will begiving it a try.

Bill, in addition to being very impressive, your post was quite informative for me as well. Truth be told, I never knew there was such a thing as "inside" skirt steak versus "outside" skirt steak — I always thought skirt steak was just skirt steak. My curiosity took me to the Serious Eats website (link here), where I learned that outside skirt comes from the plate section of the steer, while inside skirt comes from the flank. So in the end, your appetizing photos of bread and steak left me enlightened and drooling simultaneously.
