Started with an Excellent Vanilla Porter from Canada's Beau's All Natural Brewing Company

the black spot above the glass is Mr. Fuzz residing in my camera lens

stepped outside to fire up the 22" OTG with Craycort CIGs and saw this nice sunset...

then seasoned two decent sized boneless rib eyes with Oakridge BBQ Santa Maria rub
oh, and a boatload of minced gaaaalic

no steak is a steak without mushrooms, so I got those too

Rib eyes on with some hickory wood for a little smoke flavour....

cooked to a perfecto medium rare.....

...dinner was served with baby Yukons and oven roasted cauliflower...

most likely the finest boneless rib eye that I can remember inhaling.... :p

Man it looks like winter down there!! But I see you warmed things up well with that steak cook!! Looks perfect!!

Very nice Jim. Im gonna have a snow pic come Wednesday I think. Supposed to get at least three inches maybe more.
 
That is on FINE looking steak dinner but am wondering if you ever get a bitter taste searing a steak with that much garlic on it?
